Spectrum Workplace have recently completed a contemporary office refurbishment for this expanding PR company. This included the general office areas, reception, meeting rooms and kitchen in addition to the breakout area. Full-height glass partitioning was used to good effect with subtle branding incorporated into the manifestation filming.
Silicon jointed full-height glass partitioning was installed to maximise the amount of natural light coming into the inner areas of the building. Privacy was also achieved with opaque film (known as manifestation) which incorporated the company logo and branding.
The breakout area included curved soft seating by Boss Design and fitted well into the circular turret in the corner or the building. The brekaout area is also used as a reception area and boasts impressive views across London with St Pauls and many other landmark buildings visible. This area can also be used for informal meetings and has proved a very useful multi-functional space.
The striking teapoint area used dark red gloss laminate doors together with granite effect worktop to give a classy but practical result. The large fridge/freezer also provided chilled water and ice for convenience.
The project was completed on time and within budget to provide an end result that exceeded the expectations of the client. Partner, Brian O’Sullivan, commented “Despite a very short deadline and constantly changing requirements Spectrum couldn’t have been more confidence inspiring or competent in the delivery of our London office. Designing, sourcing and project managing everything from glass-walled offices to kitchen tiles, the project team not only completed ahead of deadline but also accommodated numerous variations along the way. Not only that, such is the can-do culture of the company, they were invariably a pleasure to work with throughout the process.”
