A recent survey conducted by IPSOS shows alarmingly low satisfaction levels amongst UK Office Workers.
When asked “How would you rate your quality of life at work?” the average rating out of 10 was only 3.5.
A huge 86% disagreed with the statement “I like my working environment”.
A massive 89% of UK office workers said that their work environment did not allow them to concentrate easily.
Only 13% said their work environment allowed them to work in teams without being interrupted or disrupted.
Only 6% of office workers in the UK said that their work environment allowed them to choose where to work within the office based on the task they are doing.
A very interesting conclusion of the survey is the very strong correlation between office worker engagement levels and their perception of their working environment. The graph below shows this clearly.
